That would make sense. Jem wouldn't hold any grudges against members of Cassie's group though he probably wouldn't talk to them as much as he might have done in earlier years for fear of 'fraternising with the enemy'.

Perhaps they were friends in their earlier years but then Alex started going to parties and such and started to pick up some of the habits of those she hung around with? She'd be very jealous of her for being on the Quidditch team. So yeah, I'll leave this up to you.

They're quite distantly related so I assume they'd have met at some Weasley gatherings? Arthur and Molly would be her great-grandparents through her mother's father and they're Matt's through his father's mother. So a sort of love-to-hate situation? They don't exactly hate each other but they wind each other up (or at least Matt winds Cassie up) enough that they hold a dislike for each other.

i like the sound of that, as i can't imagine she'd be all that impressed with the ongoing party lifestyle that frequently. and then there's dealing with a hungover roommate - not nice! i'm good to go with previous friends turned to casual acquaintance/slight annoyance, if you're happy.

alright, so they are different years and different houses, but i don't see anything that would keep them from being friends if they met. she doesn't play quidditch so there is no possible rivalry. i think they would just be average friends.

i wouldn't say close friends, but i'm thinking they can be friends. grace does party, just not as hard as alex. so maybe party friends as well. if alex were to invite grace to an outing she'd probably accept. and then of course she's coming to alex's party so.. yeah. haha.

well, grace is mattie's little sister. i'd say they're pretty close. grace isn't too fond of what's going on with the other brother, so yes, as of right now matt is her favorite haha. i know they'd be protective of eachother too, and as i saw in the icc he's probably going to be overprotective right? haha. and i know he won't like it when he finds out she's a partier.

so, any thoughts on any of them?

average friends it is. my family tree thing says they're second cousins too (both descendants of arthur and molly) so they'd probably know each other from family gatherings too.

alex would be very keen on being leading a potter astray. she's not in cassie's little group but i doubt she'd be too fond of the middle potter child. so yes, party friends sounds fine.

GRACE & MATT
matt will be very overprotective, isn't that what brothers are for? he'd still annoy her like hell and then she'd get him back by refusing when he tells her to do or not to do something. as shown in the icc. he wouldn't be happy if he found out about her partying and would be quick to walk in and drag her out if need be.
