PERSONALITY: there are a few things about corbin that you will realise easily. he has a desire to succeed, so much so that he is willing to do whatever it takes. he tries to please people but he does realise that it is nearly impossible to please everyone. he has a gift for realising where the limits lie, because it always reaches a point where there is only so much that you can do and he can accept that. he'll frequently help people out as he's very helpful and feels bad if he doesn't lend a hand. he's quick to trust people and that is a weakness. he's kind hearted, and if he tries to help it is for genuine concern and a want to do so. he's not the type that thinks about what there is to fain from helping someone, that isn't at all what he is about. he's good natured and always does try and do what's best although sometimes things do not always translate in that way, no matter how hard you try. if you want an honest opinion then come to corbin, but he won't be blunt, he'll try his best to deliver the truth in the most comforting way possible, instead of saying it and not caring about how it effects you. corbin cares about people and emotions, although he does have his off days, let's be honest, everyone does, if he snaps at you on an off day, he will definately apologise. his main worry is for his family and that they're all alright. he's scared of clowns but loves the circus, as long as he can avoid coming too close to the clowns. he likes to draw, ride bikes, cars, motercycles, photography and going out for a nice walk around. he doesn't like clowns, being underwater for too long, and camels. his desire is to be able to support his family whilst also being able to raise a family of his own one day. he aims to have his own lovely little house with a nice garden where he can marry someone equally as lovely as him and they can start a family, and he'd also love to fall in love. he doesn't really keep any big secrets and doesn't have any of his own. he used to find it hard to sit still and he used to fidget a lot, but he fell out of that habit after it started to annoy his mother. he still fidgets when he's nervous though and he does try to stop it then too. he is also what you would call an awkward cougher. if there's some sort of awkward moment then he'll cough to try and clear it all up. his strengths are his ability to trust although it does double as a weakness, his honesty, his good nature and kind heart, and his want to help people, although all of these are weaknesses in a way as it's easy to take advantage of this wizard. BACKGROUND: corbin was born in stratford upon avon in england. he lived in a house there with his mother, father, and the rest of his siblings until he was seven years old. his mother is called amelia pandora tharme (nee howard) and his dad's name is peter alexander tharme. corbin's mother was always in love with peter and as she got older and more beautiful, peter started to pay more attention to her, and when she ended up pregnant his family pushed him into marrying her as it was "the right thing to do". he cared for her and he liked her personality but it was never really love for him, although that didn't stop him from fathering more children with her. when it really came down to it he was there for the kids, but when corbin was six, his dad left the family as he said he couldn't take it anymore. living in a loveless relationship was taking it's toll. it was hard for corbin's mother, as she genuinely loved him, but she finally pulled it together and moved the family into a completely different area. corbin moved schools, and when he turned 11 he got a letter from somewhere called hogwarts. soon after a teacher arrived to tell him all about it, and he started to understand that he was different. it was great news, corbin got to start a new life in a new world. he was sorted into hufflepuff and grew up there, within that house and within that school. when he was sixteen he met a year seven hufflepuff and fell in love with her. they tried dating and cor was sure it was love, so he bought her a ring, and she said yes, but three months into the engagement, she told him that she couldn't do it and that she liked someone else, and corbin was crushed. he was seventeen and just about to leave hogwarts, and it was also the day that he was about to unveil a tattoo he'd gotten over his heart of her first initial. bad luck, eh? when he left school he ended up in the employment of the dalton family working as a gardener in their vast estate, and he still works there now and lives in hogsmede in an apartment that he's renting. |
