meet hogwarts new defence against the dark arts professor! mrs amber green has pleanty of history behind her, owed to the fact that she is a one hundred and fifty six year old vampire. she's seen it all, from the eighteen hundred hogwarts, to 1920's america. in fact, she likes to claim that it was her who inspired some of the flapper fashions of the time. this isn't necesserily true, but hey, you never know, right? she's sassy and smart, and a former ravenclaw, though possibilities for classmates are far and inbetween unless we have another philossophers stone on our hands. she's new in town, technically, though she was born here, she'd be keeping her vampire secret, well, a secret, so she'd adopt some other persona, probably new in town, gone to school in beuxbautons thanks to her time in france, and twenty three years old, which was the age that she turned. she's technically married though she's not been most faithful so if you've also got a new out of town-er or someone who's been travelling we could work some sort of thing out. she's also opperating under the rouse of being out of town to work with dragons, but missing her husband and so now she's chosen to return to him. she could do with a friend or two, enemies is always fun and i've already mentioned lovers. if i think of anything else i will add it later. plot away! xD

17, gryffindor, mother to amelia, it's complicated, stubborn, determined.

annie is my loveable and slightly mad gryffindor. not mad in a bad way, just willing to try anything once. oh, and mad as in hot headed. she has a temper on her, be warned. be aware that it's hard to keep the attention of this girl unless you're doing or saying something that inerests her, she likes interesting convorsations, not boring and generic ones about the weather. although, she could talk for the u about quittch if you wanted her to, as she was a beater on the gryffindor quidditch team until she fell pregnant with her daughter, who is now two weeks old. at seventeen, this girl is a bit of a wildfire and her red hair indicates that. she likes things to stay interesting and original and she loves the colour red. she's currently stuck in st mungo's watching her daughter grow stronger thanks to her being born a month premature, but she's soon getting to take her home and then is hoping to fall back into a routine at hogwarts, with someone minding her child, but of course that hinges on whether the father of her kid will be a babysitter.

meet corbin tharme, a very respectful, caring and gentlemanly man. he's always respectful toward everyone, especially women and is always opening doors and things for them, although this does come from his upbringing by his mother, it also was fueled by the fact that he works for the dalton's. he's classed as the gardener, but he's also a bit of a handy man, stepping in and out of jobs, doing whatever's needed etc when he isn't working in the gardens of dalton estate in scotland. he maintains a residence within hogsmede and goes to the dalton estate every other day to help maintain the grounds, and is paid fairly well. he also does go more often whenever it's required of him. he's nineteen years old and only a little older than the eldest dalton child, and he's known them for a little while now, as he's been in employment with the dalton's for two years and a few months. he's charming, friendly and honest, barely judges anyone especially if he doesn't know them, and has been engaged once in the past although that didn't work out for him. he loves being outdoors although that changes a bit when it's pouring down with rain, as getting soaked through is never fun. he was exctatic when he learned about hogwarts after he turned eleven and couldn't wait to start learning magic. he is muggleborn and was born may 15th. his mother works as a cleaner in various places and is unable to use magic, his father plays music on weekends in a few venues, and in the day time works at a small store as a cashier, all in the muggle world. corbin was born in stratford upon avon and therefore has a sexy english accent. he's also had a huge crush on evelyn dalton since the start of his employment with the daltons but has never done anything about it as it is above his "station" or whatever and evelyn would never want him anyway, or so he thinks. he's open for friends, past romance although he's never been in a serious relationship outside of the time he got engaged, enemies, family (he has an elder sister who is 21, a nephew and a brother in law who is also 21, and a younger sister who is fifteen) and other, but he's taken in terms of final.

joshua dalton is sarcastic, stubborn and enjoys getting his own way very, very much. who doesn't? but he hasn't gotten his way at all recently. he's now stuck at hogwarts for a year. he didn't even want to go there, but his parents decided on it. (being big members of the nex domino, with the founders back in the school it would be good to get the kids out of the house so that they could have nex meetings at dalton estate, not to mention that then they have inside intel within the castle, albeit unbeknown to the kids themselves who would be passing on school stories to their family.) anyway, so yeah, he is in slytherin house, with his twin sister, bethany priscilla dalton. he's also just been informed that he's slap bang in the middle of an arranged marriage though he has yet to find out the person who will be his wife. he will not be happy about this and fight it every step of the way. relationship wise, past relationships is possible, but we'll have to do a little working out as to how they would have met, because he was taught from home all his life so that leaves very little room for anyone at school. he could be in a current relationship that is just starting out but the plot is that he's going to end up falling in love with the girl he's engaged to so your girl will be heartbroken if you do sign up for that plot. he's secretly a virgin though he'd never let any of his family know this. friends are also restricted with not that long at hogwarts and being stuck with home schooling but it would be possible to work that out. so yeah, let us hear those ideas!

phoebe is my new baby, so welcome her lol xD she's a hufflepuff sixth year, and a member of her house quidditch team. she's also a prefect so watch out rulebreakters and stuff! although her main reason for enjoying being a prefect is the accessability to the prefect bathroom! she loves quidditch, but not as much as she loves attention from guys, and that is something that she gets often. she's pretty, witty and knows exactly how to wrap a man around her finger, but the truth is that she falls in love easily, is easily and often hurt, and just wants to make the people around her happy. she uses her position within hogwarts as prefect to help her friend out with her plans and things, and all in all is a genuinely nice and sweet girl who just wants to find someone who can treat her right, and who she can spoil at times too.

corbin would obviously know arthur thanks to his work in the estate and such, and they would have known each other for a while. corbin will be worried about what arthur thinks when he finds out about corbin and evie, and may ask for arthur to keep it secret, although i don't doubt that arthur knows that. i think other than that they will get on although it'll take a while for them to make any progress toward a friends basis because corbin would just keep thinking he's stepping out of his station for even talking to the dalton kids about anything unless he needed to, let alone everything else he's doing, and it's going to be an adjustment lol.

amber and lily. i like that, friends at first and then if amber reveals her secret in confidence lily can flip out and be enemies, and it'll just solidify amber's view that there are very few people you can truly rely on and that she's lucky to have found one in michael, her husband. she'll later be cold hearted and really mad toward lily, because she would probably have been genuinely hurt by her when rejected for something that she is. she'd hate lily's views on vampires, and would hope that she slightly changed her mind about them in letting her get to know her first though hope of that might be shot when lily starts hatin' lol. sorted!

joshua and lily prof. snape. josh would be playing up a bit in her lesson. maybe he blows up a cauldron or two or something somewhere along the lines, he's kind of famous for some pyrotechnics lol. he's in the middle of an arranged marriage plot and so he'd be acting out more than usual, maybe to get the attention of his parents, to let them know he doesn't want it, and maybe getting into multiple detentions could be a part of that. he'd also probs use that time to flirt with his teacher, and probably try and waste some of her time too.

corbin and lily probably wouldn't meet, he's a dalton estate gardener and he probs won't be coming too close to the castle as he's not there anymore obvs, the only reason he would be is because of evelyn who he has this mad crush on and both of them are in denial and all that cute stuff. could run into each other in hogwarts maybe, she's a little old to have been in school with him i think, i can't think of anything in particular.

annie and lily probably won't be seeing too much of each other as she's just recently become a mother, and is planning on making her school return after christmas when all of them are sorted out and eased in and such. think of her as on materinty leave atm. she pops by the school every now and again for work, so lily might have been informed of her condition, and such so lily would probs know who she was in case she came a knocking. how do you think they would get on? annie's a bit of a firecracker, her red hair says it all in the department of her temper and she's fiercely protective of herself, trevor and her baby girl.

rosalie and lily i was thinking maybe they have some sort of odd rivalry. lily thinks the slytherin house is best and rose might want to prove her wrong, she's smart and would possibly excel in potions. i was even thinking maybe she was getting so good that begrudgingly lily allowed her to sit in on her seventh year lessons once a week or something and that she was chris' overbearing partner. that was just a random idea there. what do you think?

phoebe and lily phoebe is fiercely loyal to her house and to her friends, is chaser on the huffie team and is a sixth year. she's bubbly, confident, and always smiling. she's also a prefect. i don't know how they'd get on, she'd probs think that lily is a bit up tight with her stern attitude and would probably think she should take a chill pill so to speak lol. idk what lily would think of pheebs...

You make an interesting point there about Lily's father. I think yes, there would definitely be a bit of resentment over how do these four get to live again? Also, Lily is automatically loyal to Salazar (though that might change as she gets to know him) so I suppose she would be predisposed to dislike Godric as Salazar's rival. At the same time though, she would have to respect Godric because he is one of the most talented wizards to have lived. That counts for a lot!

Rosalie & Lily
I like the sound of that. Though Lily would be reluctant to acknowledge the talent of a non-Slytherin I think she wouldn't deny it either. So that's good.


Lily & Joshua
That could be good. A few detentions and see how it goes, if Lily might be some help to his personal woes.
