Well, this looks familiar! Yep, that's right. I used the same code from Dashiell's plot page. I may even use it for character requests. Who knows!
Isaac could use many friends, although his two best friends would probably be his girlfriend (who is up for grabs), and his fraternal twin of a sister. Apart from these two, who will probably get a wanted ad later, or you can go search through his history for information on them, I think Isaac would have a few male friends who he'd become rather close with and would have taught basic conversational signing. Otherwise, they can just talk slowly and let him lip-read or write down what they want to say. It may be mistaken that Isaac isn't very active, since he's not a Quidditch player and doesn't lift first-years for fun. Nevertheless, I think that Mr. Emerson would be more cardiovascularly fit rather than muscularly. He's able to do some heavy lifting, having some experience at St. Mungos at lifting people from stretcher to bed, or such. He could use magic, but it's easier for him to keep his wand away when working. Potential friends could include anyone that isn't a Slytherin or ignorant of the deaf. Very possibly he could befriend a Slytherin, but only if they're not a douche. :] Attached to his interest in healing, he loves to help people. He's been known to assist patient, younger Hufflepuffs with any subject material he remembers.
On the other hand, Isaac is very morally based, especially when it comes to the Hufflepuff traits. He can be very tolerant of others and has no problem allowing one of them to join his group if they are alone. He's also very fond of hard-working students and tends to gravitate toward them while he'll openly scorn anyone taking a shortcut or partaking of cheating. Anyone who is either lazy, cheating, or prejudice in a ridiculous way will be at odds with Isaac. For someone who hardly makes any noise, his cold shoulder can be especially frosty. I think it'd be wonderful to have some enemies, so throw your characters in here.
So, his main plots so far are including his girlfriend, as well as probably some interaction with his sister — hey, keep your mind out of that gutter. :| I'd love some drama if you can think of anything. Otherwise I may go throw ridiculous ideas at you involving whale riding and thestral breeding. Aren't you more determined to throw your ideas at me? That's what I thought. Come get him and all his fun!

Isaac would probably find him slightly annoying, as Arthur would probably get way too interested on the fact Isaac's deaf and although Arthur means no harm he cant really tell when enough is enough so possibly friends/isaac puts up with arthur's questions because he's too kind to tell him to piss off.

I'm thinking friends, not really best friends as i cant really see a way they'd be that close but i could see them being more like aquaintaces who are nice to each other. I dont know what i'm trying to say sometimes so if this is making no sense let me know.

Enemies probably, i havent really got a reason, Nathan just dislikes some people for no reason because that's who he is and he can pick flaws in the most liked people. This time it'd probably be like a "I get it, your deaf, big deal get over it" kinda thing.

No idea. Oh wait, no, he's hufflepuff's chosen student so they would probably see a bit of each other, they'd probably not get on, as Salazar would be a bit of dick and tease him about his deafness.

Thank you very much for actually posting on here.  Let us begin! isaac && arthurThis would be hilarious. Isaac is used to some interest when first years realise that he is deaf, but someone that asks constant questions and is otherwise just intrigued by the idea and experience of it is humourous as hell. I can see Isaac first humouring Arthur's interest by trying to teach him the vague differences that he lives with, and maybe a bit about how he uses nonverbal magic with quite some skill. You know, the works. Then, after a while, I think Isaac would probably get a little annoyed with Arthur, thinking that he belongs in Ravenclaw with a curiosity like that. He'd give him shorter and shorter answers, and then just try to avoid him. He'd still think Arthur was nice... but a bit like the Colin Creevey of the school. ;D isaac && christopherHmm, I dunno that they'd really be aquaintances. I mean, they'd know of each other, and Isaac would probably try to be nice to him if he had to deal with Christopher, but the fact that he is a Slytherin would probably have Isaac a little suspicious. He isn't likely to steal Christopher of a first chance, but if he screws that up, don't be expecting much of a forgiveness! isaac && davidI agree here. I don't see them being extremely close. He probably wouldn't mind working with David too much during cross-house classes and the sort, but otherwise they'd probably stick to their own friends. The only real plot potential I see here would probably deal with David's father being one of the Nex Domino. Of course it wouldn't have any obvious plotting here since no one is very open about their alliances at this point, but still. XP isaac && jonathanWellllll, Isaac is one of the founder's supporters, and therein is one of the enemies of the Nex Domino. They probably wouldn't know at this point that the other lies on the other side, but in the future, this could be an interesting place to play. isaac && michaelI also have not an idea for these two, apart from some terrible first-year experience with flying, aha! isaac && nathanI would love to have Nathan as Isaac's enemy. He could use some nasty Slytherins who are otherwise annoyed by Isaac, even if they'd never spoken a word to one another. isaac && slytherinI think this is hilarious. Isaac would probably be a little afraid of Slytherin, more than the other founders, for his House's reputation. I think it would be interesting if there was a bit of a teasing dynamic, for Isaac isn't typically one to be respectful to those who bother and taunt people, but since Slytherin is a founder, he'd be obliged to just deal with it. I think Isaac may or may not find Salazar a little bit untrustworthy, but would trust the other founders (especially Hufflepuff) enough to let them figure out such things. Anyway, expect Isaac to try to keep his distance and keep an eye on this one. ....................... |
