GENDER: Male. DATE OF BIRTH: 7th December. SEXUAL ORIENTATION: Homosexual. CURRENT RESIDENCE: Malfoy Manor, Wiltshire, England. CURRENT OCCUPATION: Fifth year student. HOGWARTS HOUSE: Gryffindor. BLOOD STATUS: Halfblood. WAND: Spruce, phoenix feather, 10¾". PERSONALITY: "I have an odd obsession with kiwi fruit, I just can't get enough of it. It's just so tasty! I'm quite a big fan of Quidditch too though I haven't yet figured out if I prefer playing or watching. I really enjoy them both but as with everything, each has their pros and cons. I like music too though I prefer Muggle music. Somehow you can tell that if there's an instrument playing, it's probably being played by a person rather than playing itself. Another of my likes, perhaps even stranger than the kiwi fruit, is Hufflepuffs. They're generally a lot nicer than the other houses and seem to make better friends. While Gryffindors may be good fun, I've noticed they like to bitch a lot about people. As for my dislikes, I can't stand vegetables. With fruit, it's healthy and it tastes nice but with vegetables, it's just healthy. Broccoli is the worst, it's all mushy and disgusting. Cauliflower isn't much better. I hate it when Cassie treats me like her younger brother, even though I am. I have no problem with being younger, it's just extremely irritating when she treats me like a first year. Her friends are worse than she is. I don't like ghosts either, they creep me out. I can't say I'm a huge fan of reading either, unless it's about Quidditch. That's probably the only thing I'll voluntarily read about. I suppose Quidditch is one of my strengths and I seem to have a talent for winding people up. I personally consider that a strength but you may not. I can burp the alphabet too. Cool, right? No? You're just jealous. As for my weaknesses, I suck at essays. I can just about scrape an A if I like the topic, otherwise it's usually a P. With practicals, I usually get an E and sometimes even an O. History of Magic is probably my worst subject with Astronomy coming at a close second. I'm quite easily scared too. I'm scared of ghosts, rats, water, the dark, spiders, snakes... pretty much everything except heights. It would be a bit of a problem with playing Quidditch if I was." BACKGROUND: "Both of my parents are quite well known in the wizard world and that has resulted in most people being aware of my family. I'll start with my father. He's called Scorpius Malfoy and he's about 38. His parents are Draco and Hermione Malfoy and they're old. My mother is called Rose Malfoy and she's the same age as my father. Her parents are Ronald and Lavender Weasley, who are also old. I have no siblings apart from my older sister Cassandra, which makes the start of this sentence completely pointless. She's in her seventh year and she's a Slytherin. While she's running around causing trouble, even if she does deny being the cause of it, I've been living a comparatively boring life. Well, she'd call it boring anyway. Shortly before my first year at Hogwarts, I met a boy by the name of Dashiell Peakes in Diagon Alley. We got to talking and discovered we'd both be starting at Hogwarts that September. My mother insisted that we finish shopping quickly in time to meet my Uncle Hugo in the Leaky Cauldron for lunch. We agreed to meet at Platform Nine and Three-Quarters and sure enough, there he was when I went to board the Hogwarts Express. We ran along the carriages in search of an empty compartment and burst into one that appeared to be vacant. It wasn't until we sat down that we realised there was another boy in there but not wanting to be rude, we didn't leave. He was shortly joined by his own friend and they introduced themselves as Davies and Longbottom. The four of us bonded somewhat over the course of the journey and even when the Sorting Hat split us in half, sending Dash and I to Gryffindor while Max and Davies went to Hufflepuff, we remained friends. A few days later, we had a group activity in Charms and a Ravenclaw by the name of Goldstein seemed to have been left to himself so we told him he could join our group. We walked out of that lesson as if he'd been with us on the train and thus our group of friends was complete. We caused our own trouble but nothing significant enough for the professors to collectively dislike us. Peakes persuaded me last year to join the Quidditch team so I tried out. Before I knew it, I was one of the Chasers and I've been on the team ever since. As fun as that's been, it's also caused a couple of problems in my head. You see, I'd been quite confident in my sexuality until I started seeing boys with little clothing on a regular basis. Sure, I'd seen things here and there over the years in my dormitory but everything's so much more exposed in the changing rooms. At some point I realised that I actually enjoyed what I was seeing, as perverted as that may sound, and so I had to tell Dash about what was going on because I always go to him when I need someone to talk to. In the showers after some Quidditch practice probably wasn't the best time however. He took it well and promised to still be there for me and he's stuck by that. Unfortunately he got a little too stuck when someone slipped him some cookies with botched love potion in and he got a little obsessive and touchy... both metaphorically and literally. So we got him sorted out and then we had a bit of an awkward period. Honestly, it was unbearable. I'm not used to spending so little time with him and I don't think withdrawal symptoms would be too much of an exaggeration. Eventually we sorted things out and started talking again. I hadn't been expecting him to explain that he wasn't entirely in objection to what he'd done, besides the slight inappropriacy of it. Is that even a word? Anyway, he didn't want to have been quite so pushy. We agreed to see if things would work between us and so we're just seeing how it plays out." |
