I said I'm comin' back, I'm comin back around, And you ain't goin' nowhere, so put your jacket down, Nathan noticed her roll her eyes at him, did she really just roll her eyes at him because he had rolled his eyes at her, what kind of response was that, was he supposed to roll his eyes back again? He wasn't going to do that he'd look stupid. He just gave her a look of confusion mixed with the look of being a little weirded out. She usually just frowned when he rolled his eyes, she always found new ways to make him wonder 'what the hell?'. "Why? You going somewhere?" he asked completely missing the point of why she had a peaceful week ahead.
Nathan wasn't giving her one hundred percent of his attention, his mind was often wandering, right now he was wondering how long it had been since they had last properly made out, it felt like too long in his opinion. "Because.. its my job" he said because he honestly couldn't come up with a decent reason. He had a right to know about her fantasies, or else they wouldn't come true, then again it still wouldn't come true if he knew and didn't like it. Nathan didn't know what was wrong with girly gossip magazines, he hadn't read one to know but obviously she found something wrong with them "erm... no?" he responded hoping he had picked the correct response and would either be rewarded or at least not punished, he didn't need the hassle of trying to argue about girl magazines he knew little about.
"Like i'd call my girlfriend a whore... i'll save that for when we break up" he told her, he presumed that was what she meant by less flattering means anyway, if she hadn't then.. well.. that's a little bit awkward. He was probably more of a whore than her, but he didn't mind it that much, girls tended to find the word whore more offensive than guys do, Nathan personally didn't care, at least he had fun, although he hadn't actually slept with many people.
"Oh please, you just described yourself" he said rolling his eyes once again, he had managed to come back to pretty much her entire argument with one simple line though, that made him feel pretty good. "I'm intelligent enough to make my own decisions thanks, trying to make them for me will only end up bad for you" he stated he would never let anyone tell him how to live his life, not her, not his parents and not even a teacher, nobody would stop him being his own person. "Fine then.. you do never give me anything.. add that to the list of reasons why you're more annoying" he said, forefitting one argument to win another and if she denied it he'd won that argument, it was pretty clever play in his opinion. Not that it was a sort of game to him, okay it was.
"You? Everything i want in a girl? You?" he asked chuckling then paused suddenly, "I mean yeah, you're everything i want... and more" he acted, there was a lot he would have wanted out of a girlfriend, to the point that there probably was no perfect girl for him, he had mainly said what he had to annoy her though, he hoped it had work, it was incredibly fun annoying her. Nathan watched her move closer, about time he thought hoping the no touching rule would end soon. "Hit me and find out" They might take me away, but guess who's back in town.

Now she was possibly just as confused as she'd ever been, why had she found herself in a situation where she could no longer resist the urge to roll her eyes at someone just because they had done so a few moments earlier? It seemed ridiculous that she would engage in such infantile behaviour. This was also clearly a result of being around him too much. He'd made her far more immature than she'd even realised, she had always been able to explain her actions before and they didn't involve rolling her eyes merely because she wasn't letting the other person be the last one to do this. It was astonishingly petty, to even care whether she was the last one to roll her eyes at him or whether it was the other way around. Not that it would be. She could never let him win this ridiculous game of rolling their eyes, even when it didn't mean anything, she was just far too stubborn. She noticed his weird expression at watching her roll her eyes in return, not regretting the decision to do so. She kind of liked it when he looked confused, although she'd always neglect to tell him things like that. She mostly enjoyed the feeling of satisfaction at him neglecting to roll his eyes, meaning that she had won, at least in her own head. Frowning, she shook her head in disbelief as he made it clear that he hadn't picked up on her point. It was sad when she needed to explain her words to him, like he wasn't even paying enough attention to process the information. "I meant it would be a quiet week without hearing about your sexual desires. But then, even if you don't say them aloud, I can sense them running around in your head."
Resisting the highly strong urge to roll her eyes again, having realised that he was indeed failing to give her his full attention, she contented herself by sighing inwardly instead. Merlin only knew what was distracting him from the events happening in reality, rather than in his world in his head but obviously it demanded some attention as opposed to her. "It's not your job," she replied, partly hoping that this short sentence would be enough to bring his attention back to her. "That was possibly one of your worst responses. You might as well give up and accept that sexual fantasies do not feature in my life." She had never really got into the whole fantasy things that she had learned about, but then she wasn't going out of her way to try them. Frankly, she had never had much interest in anything along those lines. Did this frequent interest mean that he did? Almost certainly, she decided, noting that he was a teenage boy with hormones affecting him more than hers. Half of the time she found herself wondering how difficult it was for him to exhibit some self-control around women.
This thought quickly disappeared when she heard a weird thing come from his mouth. Had he just agreed with something she said? That was odd. Since when did he do that? It was very rate indeed that he openly agreed with anything that she stated in their conversations and led her, of course, to make the common assumption. "How nice of you to agree with me," she commented, still frowning slightly with her confusion creeping in. "So, what is it that you want?" She could only assume that such a careful answer would be to suit an unknown purpose, one that she now wanted to be informed about. He'd managed to distract her so much with his random response which was clearly designed to please her that she'd forgotten what her previous thoughts had been about. She wondered if this was his intention, that he imagined she'd be surprised enough to drop the topic that he didn't want to discuss. Biting her lip, she couldn't prevent herself from frowning and staring at him for longer than she had expected, now he was acting weirdly she wasn't entirely sure how best to respond. "'As much as I appreciate the gesture of you finally realising that you should be complimenting such a lovely girlfriend like me, it's slightly weird..." She trailed off somewhat, before finishing her broken sentence, "Have you even complimented a girl before?" If the answer was 'no', she'd evidently be more confused about his motives for attempting to satisfy her. She couldn't help but want to know why he'd suddenly changed his answer to fit in with what she wanted to hear.
"I don't think we'll be saving that word for anytime during my life," she stated, making it clear that she was not going to permit him to use such a word about her, whether they were together or miles apart. "Mostly because it would be grossly inaccurate. If I were to call you a whore, however, that would be more acceptable." Perhaps 'acceptable' was the wrong choice of word to use there, but she was basically indicating that out of the two of them, only she would have a reason to call him such a name. She might be many of the things she accused him of, but she wasn't a whore. "No, I was describing you. Honestly, Lysander, do you listen to anything people say to you?" Obviously she shared those qualities, but she wasn't about to say so, that'd be pointing out the weaknesses in her argument. "If you would like further adjectives, I'll be only too happy to oblige." That made it sound as though she had an in-exhaustive list of words which she attributed to him, but she knew if asked, she'd struggle somewhat to think of more than ten. She grinned at his complaint about never getting anything, "I do restrict you from certain things," she agreed, moving towards him, their faces inches apart, before moving away suddenly and grinning once more. "After all, you'd never learn to value them if you had everything you wanted."

I said I'm comin' back, I'm comin back around, And you ain't goin' nowhere, so put your jacket down, Nathan was now wondering what iit would be like kissing someone with a beard, as in him having a beard although he did have a brief thought about kissing a bearded woman but decided that was certainly not for him, he liked his girls femanin, not manly. Maybe he should grow a beard, he doubted she would let him though.. maybe he should go missing in the forbidden forest and live like a wild man and then just as everyone is giving up hope he could return, masculine and hairy and with an awesome beard and she would be too happy to see him to moan about the beard. Would he really go to all that effort for a beard though.. probably not. Oh crap, she said something "Oh, yeah" he said hoping it was a reasonable response for what she had said.
"Everyone has sexual fantasies" Nathan stated simply but then found the need to add "Even you're mother" why he had said it, he was unsure, did he want to give her weird disgusting images, no, well.. maybe a little, he did like to annoy her after all. When she asked him what he wanted his mind began to wander again, he managed to stop it quickly enough though. "I want a lot of things.. i want a giant turtle, i want to make out, i want a beard, i want a sword, i want a chocolate fountain and i want sex.. like all guys" he said unsure what it was she was looking for in an answer, maybe she thought he was just being kind instead of sneakily winning a different argument.
"Did you seriously just ask me if i've ever complimented a girl before?" he asked rhetorically, he had heard what she said he was just slightly shocked. "What kind of heartless barbarian do you take me for?" he asked then continued "Of course i have, i once told a girl her words were like a melody of pure pleasure to my ears" okay so he'd said that to annoy a girl who didn't like him, but she didn't have to know that. "I also once told a girl she was the most beautiful thing i'd ever seen" that one had actually been a compliment but again he probably wouldn't give her more details about it.
"Oh shut it you whore" he joked, he didnt mind being called a whore but if he found out it annoyed her, well, she would have to start getting used to it because he would say it a whole lot more. "Go on then, what are these adjectives you speak of?" he asked waiting for a really long list of words but he was curious as to what she could come up with. What she did then was just wrong, it was like pulling the legs off a bug and watching it squirm until it dies, ok maybe it wasn't that bad and he was exaggerating but he was not amused. "How will i ever be able to value them if i never get them?" he asked leaning in like she had done and then just burping in her face and leaning back again crossing his arms, he was making a small stand. They might take me away, but guess who's back in town.

Being a girl who enjoyed attention, it was very noticeable when people weren't paying her the right amount of attention. Like this particular situation, where he'd obviously drifted off halfway through the conversation, although only once she'd started talking once more. Rolling her eyes was a familiar and favourable solution to this problem, but if he wasn't watching her properly, he'd fail to notice this also. She scowled slightly, folding her arms to highlight the emotions she was feeling and now radiating across the room. He'd have to be extraordinarily unobservant to pick up on her current mood, something that she was almost daring him to try. She found it difficult to comprehend that out of all of the people she had to spend time with, he was one of the only ones who she cared about and yet was also one of those who failed to pay attention to her. Of course he listened to her occasionally, because she made sure of this, by testing his attention at random intervals, but this was an example of him living in his head instead of focusing on reality. Had she been anyone else, the amount of attention she was getting might have been more than enough, but she liked to be the centre of attention and he was denying her of this effect. Her arms still folded, she resisted the urge to remove her wand from her pocket and jab him in the face, to gain his full attention again. She could rise against such childish behaviour - to hit him would have been resorting to his immaturity, something that she was determined not to engage in. "Yes to what, Nathan? Which part exactly are you agreeing with?" Raising an eyebrow, she waited, either for him to embarrass himself by admitting defeat and confirming that he was not listening properly or for him to invent something that he agreed with. Personally, she was rather hoping for the former.
"Everyone but myself," she replied casually, as though simply correcting the small mistake he'd made in his assumptions. Obviously he didn't believe anything she was now saying on the topic, even going as far to include other people as an example. This was fair enough but, as long as he kept repeating this, she was going to deny it every single time. Her face fell at the mention of her mother in this conversation, one that she never wanted her mother to be involved in. Unable to respond immediately, her face combined a mixture of disgust and utter confusion at hearing him use her mother in this context to prove this point. "Just why, why would you bring up my mother when you're discussing sexual fantasies?" There was no reason that she could think of that would excuse the images that he'd now placed inside her mind, perhaps she'd be stuck with them forever now. Trying her best to forget about this, she decided to stand her ground and forbid him from ever associating either of her parents with that topic again. "I can assure you, nobody in my family engages in such primal behaviour, from my mother to my younger brother." Best to express this before he even started to consider mentioning other relatives in his pathetic attempts to get her to open up about the subject. "Actually, I think it's just a very small minority with minds like you who suffer from such illusions." She smiled sweetly, patting him on the head in a patronizing manner.
Happily for him, he managed to maintain his eye contact and stop his mind from leaving him for a second time. She would not have appreciated this happening any more times than she'd already experienced, once was far too many times. His words distracted her from his face as she scrunched up her own in a further expression of perplexion. "I can tell I'm going to regret asking this question, but why on earth do you want a giant turtle?" The other requests made sense, having known him for long enough to learn of his one-track mind. "Although you might as well ask for one, it's just as likely to happen as any of the others." Okay, so she might have been lying about that, but she was currently just that little bit annoyed with him, this annoyance led to her acting colder than usual towards him on the romantic front. Despite what anyone thought, she wasn't completely unfeeling towards others and therefore the irritation that was hardly hidden on her face was far from a reflection of what she felt inside. She was, however, far too stubborn and proud to let him know this, preferring to provoke some apology for his earlier behaviour. "I like you to be heartless," she confessed, not caring as much about this type of admission as those she avoided. "It makes me look good." She raised an eyebrow, frowning at his examples of girls that he had indeed complimented before today. She hadn't genuinely believed that he was incapable of these types of comments, it was just that he never used them on her. Was she to be blamed, given how random these circumstances were, if she was surprised by a sudden compliment? Evidently not, she was acting like any girl would, or any other person in that situation.
Her suspicions died somewhat, hearing him resume what was the typical exchange of responses between them, restoring what they were both accustomed to. "I'm not a whore," she replied, fixing him with the same glare that was reserved especially for him in moments like these. "I'm sorry to have to be the one to tell you like this, but I'm far from it. Like I said, you're the whore in our relationship. You know it, you're probably incredibly smug about it." She knew she was acting right into the response that he wanted, but she couldn't stop herself. Damn, he'd dragged her down to his level. She could have just stopped and pretended that such words addressed to her didn't have an effect, but obviously she wasn't as good at acting as she liked to appear. Either that or he was much better at pressing the right buttons to get the desired response than she would have liked. She didn't like the thought of him knowing her that well, it was scary and weird and all sorts of other things that she didn't like to open her mind to. "If you want adjectives I suggest you make a reservation for a dictionary from the library." She wasn't going to stand there, sit there, whatever, reeling off a list of potential adjectives to describe his personality and risk embarrassing herself in the process. Was that really wise? She'd thought teasing him a few moments ago was a clever thing to do, only to be rewarded with something far from desirable. Glaring at him once more, she barely broke eye contact as though determined to cause him grievous bodily harm merely through her continuous gaze. "Maybe, if you worked for the things you want, I'd be more willing to oblige. The way things are, you're just stupidly annoying and unable to see that what I want should be more important."

I said I'm comin' back, I'm comin back around, And you ain't goin' nowhere, so put your jacket down, Okay so he had no idea what she had said and he knew she knew that. So what he probably should do was to apologise and tell the truth, but this is Nathan we are talking about. "All of it, i agree with you completely, after all its what you want isn't it, for me to agree with you 100 percent and your a girl who gets what she wants" he said rather pleased with that, now if she argued he had something to work with at least.
"Even you!" he told her with a small nod as if he was talking to a small child although he never would talk to a small child unless he had to, most of them were rather annoying. "Well.. they say women become their mothers.. yours isn't that bad" he winked, now he was just messing with her, he had no idea who said that but that didn't matter what did matter to him was how she would react, that's all that did matter when it came to him and her. "I bet your brother does, all guys do, for sure, he probably has his eye on someone and fantasises about them from a distance longing to feel their touch.. i should write this down.. i could make a book with this kinda stuff" he said looking around the room for a piece of paper only to give up looking after a second. "I think your the one whos suffering, you should try imagining sometime, its fun"
"Seriously? You have to ask? What is wrong with you? Everyone would like a giant turtle" He told her giving her a weird look and just ignoring her comment on the likeliness of it happening. "Well contrary to popular belief im not heartless.. so you must look pretty bad.. your words" he said, flip reversing what she said.
"Ok, your not a whore.. whores get paid" he joked with a smirk he could press her buttons and manipulative her surprisingly easily sometimes and he loved it. "You know, there's a difference between seeming to be a whore an actually being one" he told her, he really wasn't that much of a whore, he had only slept with two people, both off which he had dated and had truly cared about not that h would tell people that. "Why, cant come up with some adjective yourself? Having a blonde moment are we?" he said smirking he knew she liked him so he was fairly sure she wouldn't be able to come up with too many adjectives. "Oh and what do you want?" They might take me away, but guess who's back in town.

It was a good thing, for him more than her, that he didn't feel self-conscious, like most people in his situation would. She supposed the effect might be somewhat limited since they were the only two people currently taking up the room, but most people felt a sense of awkwardness at realising that the other people in the conversation had noticed their lack of attention. She'd learned, far too soon, that he was nothing much like the average person, or even the average student at Hogwarts. He clearly felt no shame or awkwardness at her being able to prove that he hadn't been listening to a word she'd just said. He wasn't the type to become embarrassed by her yelling at him in front of everyone or merely glaring at him, highlighting that she had indeed noticed the exact moment his mind had left the conversation and also when it eventually returned to what she was discussing. Sighing inwardly, she rolled her eyes once more, so much so that she found herself glancing at the ceiling for a few seconds, before finding the correct voice to address his wandering thoughts with. "Am I to take that response as to mean you didn't listen to anything I said before I brought you back to reality?" Of course he hadn't, his mind had been far away, too interested in other dreamlike states to pay attention to what she was talking about. "On consideration, best not to answer that. It'll only make me more annoyed. Honestly, I'm starting to think that you do this whole act just to aggravate me a little." He found far too much time and effort to devote to annoying her more than the average student, mostly because she could walk away more easily from the other children, but he was harder to avoid. Evidently, whilst annoyed, she was not angry at him. Her angry expression and manner when directed at him was not restricted or censored in the slightest.
"Don't be ridiculous, Lysander." She turned her head, temporarily distracted from facing him with the same apathetic yet persistent glare, instead a small smirk appeared on her features. "Can you imagine anything worse than knowing that I'm in agreement with you on everything that ever happens? It's a horrible thought and I'd rather be assured that such a thing would never happen. Of course, if you were to agree with me, you'd definitely be right more often." Because Cassie was always right, or always unless the issue involved her close friends or family, where she'd relent and they were therefore occasionally allowed to be right instead or her. "I think our relationship is based along the premise that we tend to disagree." Nathan seemed determined to mess with her head during these moments, turning everything she said against her and yet she wasn't completely against him. It continued to be a puzzle, but she could never convincingly deny that she felt more annoyance towards him than a strong liking for him.
Sometimes, admittedly, she found herself wondering what she was doing, but not as many times during the day as she found herself wondering what he was doing. He was a strange individual and his insistence that her family members all shared passionate sexual desires for other people in society made her feel this more than usual. It wasn't as though she'd ever consider mentioning sexual fantasies when discussing his relatives, so she couldn't help but wonder why he'd felt the need to include them in the conversation, whether it was intentional or not. Perhaps a simple slip of tongue? She doubted it, he always tended to give off the impression that he meant every word he said, confident to the extreme of arrogant in his manner, making her believe that these words had been carefully selected to have the most impact. She also didn't think that turning the same statement around on him would bother him as much, whether because his imagination was lacking the same vivid imagery that hers had, or whether he simply didn't care about such things. "My mother?" Against all odds, he'd managed to make her feel more uncomfortable about the inclusion of her maternal parent in this particular topic. "That's not true, Nathan, if it was you'd be lacking a girlfriend because my mother isn't overly fond of you. Shocking, I know, given the wonderful first impressions you make." Truth be told, the only person who visibly demonstrated their feelings towards her chosen partner was her younger brother and she was rather inclined to think that the reason for so was just that - he was her younger brother. Her mother had never voiced an irrational dislike for Nathan, but who was to say that she didn't feel this way secretly? She'd never openly discussed the topic with her mother to analyse exactly how her parents felt about the situation. "Abraxas is capable of handling his emotions like a normal person, even if he shares your gender, it does not mean that he should share your negative traits." Although she rarely informed her brother of the fact, she was rather protective of her only sibling and took comfort knowing that he and Nathan were almost poles apart.
Okay, she'd take it back automatically. The discussion about her mother's sexual desires were practically normal conversation compared to that of hearing a boy call you weird for not understanding the desire to own a turtle of phenomenal size. Was he seriously trying to make her seem the odd one for not instantly knowing why he'd want this peculiar thing in his life? Apparently so, she realised, when he insisted that such a request was entirely normal, causing her to return to her folded arms position. "Of course I have to ask, Nathan. Any other person in the world would have to ask what you want with an over-sized reptile!" She highly doubted that everyone else also desired such an odd thing, tempted to believe that he was one of the only few who had even considered such a possibility. Most students were more concerned with their studies, their friends or other social activities than wanting to spend their hours with a giant turtle. "I didn't say that I thought you to be heartless, I just indicated that I prefer you to look as though you are. I guess it's just the whole 'bad-boy' image you've got going on, I find it difficult to resist." The last part was covered in a thick tone of sarcasm, she'd hardly tell him things of this nature without him asking her incessantly. She ran a hand through his hair, as though such a repetitive action would somehow prevent her from wanting to physically attack him, should her annoyance rise from the middle level it was currently hovering around. "I hope you never even think about offering me money, I'd be extremely anxious about your health." Figuring that his appearance in the common room might be used to benefit her, she moved so that she could lean against him, adjusting her body to be at its most relaxed and comfortable. "I want what any girl wants." Although rather wistful and poetic, she found herself unable to stop a small giggle at the idea of her ever conveying her thoughts in this way. "Flowers, unicorns, pink fluffy cushions, you know, everything that you hate." He might dislike these things, but she also found them to be rather pathetic and romantic, something she had little interest in, if he was as smart and observant as he claimed to be, he'd know that such a comment was not to be taken seriously. Unless it emotionally pained him to find such things for her, then she'd feel some satisfaction. Only a little, but enough to make her laugh for hours.

I said I'm comin' back, I'm comin back around, And you ain't goin' nowhere, so put your jacket down, Nathan rarely got embarrassed and he had no idea why people did, the only time he did get embarrassed was when he had made a mistake that had made some sort of big impact on something, other then that he felt no reason to, everyone makes small mistakes and everything else was just him and how he was and he was certainly not ashamed of who he was in fact he was proud of it more than anything. "I think i heard something about sex, if that makes you feel any better" he said rolling his eyes, it would have been easier for her if she had simply gone along with the he was listening thing, she would have got some pretend attention and he would have been able to not get lectured by her. "Why would i possibly want to annoy you.. other than it being fun?" he asked raising an eyebrow as if it was an honest to god serious question, of which of course it wasn't.
"You know what, your right, i agree completely agreeing would eventually get annoying, you have an excellent point, i guess that's why im agreeing with you" he said now determined to make it so she gets annoyed with him agreeing with her. "Yeah.. it probably is based on the premise that we attend to disagree" he said realising he had just agreed that they disagree, a thing he decided not to ponder as his mind would probably become completely confused. "Yes, your mother" he said knowing she was uncomfortable which he enjoyed, he loved to mess with her although he did really care about her a lot more than he would ever let on, he knew if she ever found out how much he did care he would probably never live it down. "I have no idea what you're saying, your mother loves me" he lied, he was probably disliked by her entire family, apart from her. "Okay whatever you say... what kind of a name is Abraxas anyway?" he asked then added "It sounds more like a last name than anything"
Nathan couldnt understand why she had to ask why he would possibly want an 'over-sized reptile', anyone would want one, it would be a great pet and you could sit on its back and look awesome as it travels, although it may be a bit slow on land, it would be better in water. "Any normal person would understand and also want an over-sized reptile" he said rolling his eyes. He smirked slightly at the bad boy comment that had clearly been sarcasm.. but had it? "Well, your dating me so obviously it worked" he pointed out rather smug with himself, he had played the bad boy and got the girl, he was unsure how he had done it, it had gone by so fast and he wasnt paying much attention, it was as if he was single one second then he blinks and was in a relationship. On the entire paying her statement, all he had to say was "Why pay for the cow when you can get the milk for free?" it was probably not his best decision but saying it certainly amused him at least. "Your kidding right?" he asked then paused for a while before adding "I dont hate those things! i love them! you should have said!" They might take me away, but guess who's back in town.

Of all the people in the school, she’d had the bright idea to pick him? It seemed weird to her, considering that they were pretty different in both personality and attitude towards other things in life. For instance, she obviously felt worse about drifting out of a conversation than he did. Or maybe he only reserved this special treatment for her, just as she theorised in speech a few minutes earlier. He, on the other hand, appeared to have little problem with his previous behaviour and failed, as she might have guessed, to even provide her with the start of an apology. “You heard something about sex?” she repeated, as though she could hardly believe that he chose to focus on this tiny section of the discussion rather than the things she’d mentioned only a few moments ago. “You do realise that when someone catches you not paying attention, you’re usually inclined to mimic what they’ve said just before that moment?” Probably, but when did he ever do things in the manner that most of her life was accustomed to. Oh Merlin, was this whole relationship the result of some kind of breakdown? Okay, so that might have been an overreaction, but she was still rather unimpressed.
She chose to ignore the comment about possible annoyances, since neither of them could pretend that they didn’t both equally go out of their way to annoy the other during the course of their academic week. Weekends usually tended to be the time that she was more relaxed, leaving her mood to be more forgiving than average, meaning that she was more inclined to overlook his faults and also to be more like the typical girlfriend. Cassie wasn’t entirely sure whether the Slytherin boy had worked this pattern out, but she had a few suspicions about the progress he’d made along that particular route of thought. Trains of thought were an odd thing, she realised, they were so easily upset by a strange outburst or even a mere statement that seemed somewhat unusual. “No, you can’t agree with me,” she complained, trying to ignore what was clearly a vague attempt to confuse her. If she were honest, which she wouldn’t be in his presence, as that’d be admitting that he’d managed to get into her head and cause doubt, she did find the concept of what he was proposing a little confusing. They were now agreeing that they disagreed, which was a paradox of the thing that they first agreed on.
“See, this is a key example, because I can tell you that my mother does not “love you”, as you put it. She has yet to produce an opinion on you, if you really wanted to know, but she doesn’t love you.” With Nathan stating that her mother was fond of him was a weird sensation; the idea that he’d even been introduced to her parents was odd – that rarely happened. Even weirder, for her, was that she’d introduced him to her younger brother, even if it was with some regret. Abraxas, for whatever reason, had issues with her choice in partner, something she’d given up on trying to work out, since his explanations offered did not comply with what she suspected to be the true reason. “Abraxas is a typical Malfoy name,” she replied, knowing this to be valid and seemingly deeming this response as a suitable answer to his query about her sibling’s name. Of course, she tended to stay out of such situations if possible, but she could hardly forget that Nathan’s liking for her younger brother was also practically non-existent.
Obviously she’d asked a stupid question, from the look set upon the boy’s features, filling her mind with a little more of the previous confusion. “Any normal person would realise that a giant turtle should not be kept as a pet” she replied, rolling her eyes at his indignation at not understanding his desire for such an animal. She continued to stare at him with the same ‘You’re so weird’ expression etched into her face until she heard a comment about another animal that was not as attractive. “Ugh, Nathan Lysander, you’re such a jerk.” Slipping down from the corner of the armchair she was leaning against, she found herself resting against his lap instead, taking this convenient position to exert her frustration at such a comment. Shoving him slightly to the left, she grinned, feeling satisfied with this temporary payback. Raising an eyebrow, she again managed to rise above such obvious lines and contented herself by smiling sweetly instead. “If you get me any of those things, I will hit you.” Not a serious threat since she had no desire to injure his body, only his ego. “Please tell me that you would never be so mean as to inflict those things upon the world.”

I said I'm comin' back, I'm comin back around, And you ain't goin' nowhere, so put your jacket down, "Yes, i heard something about sex" he said feeling a little repetitive but she did ask so he would answer, unless it was rhetorical, but even then he would still answer most of the time. "Since when am i like most people hmm?" he asked with a small smile, he enjoyed being different it allowed him to do whatever he wanted with different consequences than other people would get, then again some things would get the same consequences, murder for example would probably have gotten him locked up but he ad no need to murder anyone and he didn't want to ever have that need.
Nathan was fairly sure his agreeing thing was working in confusing her, mainly because it was starting to confuse him. "Okay.. so we're disagreeing.. so.. i think we can agree.. so i agree!" he said with a small nod, he'd managed to turn that one around too, it was getting a bit complicated now but he was fairly sure he could keep it going longer than she could, she usually would be the one to give up on stuff like that because he was simply too stubborn and was having way too much fun with it. "Fine, your mother doesn't love me.. but she should" he said not giving any reasoning at all as he felt he had no reason to.
"It's a stupid name.. Huh, i guess it suits him then" he said crossing his arms, it wasn't that Nathan didn't like Abraxas, he had been ready to adopt him as a kind of brother but Abraxas hadn't even given him a chance and that had made an impact on Nathan, another thing he wouldnt tell anyone. Nathan wished they could get along, it would have made dating Cassie much more easier but they couldnt, not now anyway, so now he and Abraxas were enemies of a sort and Nathan was not the kind of person who would simply give in to someones requests, which for Ambraxas seemed to be to stop dating Cassie.
"I'm not going to treat it like a dog, i'm not a moron, i'd get all the stuff it needs.. like a beach" he said rolling his eyes as if what she had said with something really stupid. "Yes, I'm a jerk.. and you love it" he said with a smirk moving over slightly so she could sit down next to him instead of kind of on top of him. He placed an arm around her and kissed her cheek then smirked knowing what to say in response to the next thing "Oooh, you'll hit me? Kinky". He then chuckled and for some reason decided to be honest for a change "I'd never get you anything like that, i know you well enough to get you thing's you'd actually like.. like jewelry.. or just money so you can get your own stuff and drag me along for the boring torture" They might take me away, but guess who's back in town.
